In accordance with its goals, the Viktor Frankl Foundation confers prizes and
scholarships to honor outstanding achievements and to support research
projects in the field of meaning-oriented psychotherapy:

¦ GRAND AWARD OF THE VIKTOR FRANKL FOUNDATION OF THE CITY OF VIENNA
|

Prerequisites:
This prize is awarded for the life work, in terms of publications, teaching, therapeutic
work, of persons who have won international acclaim in the field.

Nominations and Applications
(in three copies) should bear the reference
Viktor Frankl Fonds-GRAND AWARD"
Applications are acceptable, but will not be regarded the only or primary basis
of decision.

7.300 Euro

¦ Two VIKTOR FRANKL FOUNDATION PROMOTIONAL AWARDS
|

Prerequisites:
The Promotional Awards are given for past contributions, such as scientific publications, teaching, therapeutic work, in the field of meaning-oriented humanistic psychotherapy,
by persons up to 45 years of age or by institutions.
The work in question should be clearly related to meaning-oriented
psychotherapeutic concepts that arose in Vienna. At least of the promotional awards will go
to a person or institution in Vienna, the second prize may be awarded to persons or
institutions outside of Vienna.

Applications
are required and should be submitted in three copies; they should bear the reference
"Viktor Frankl Fonds-Foerderungspreis"
Applications of persons must include a curriculum vitae and a list of publications;
institutions should provide a file containing a detailed account of their work as well as
pertinent accompanying material such as media reports etc.

2 Awards of 3.000 Euro each

¦ VIKTOR FRANKL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
|

Prerequisites:
The Scholarships are conferred in support of minor scientific projects bearing a clear
relation to the meaning-oriented psychotherapeutic concepts that arose in Vienna.
Eligible are highly competent persons of up to 40 years of age; who live in Vienna or who will come to Vienna for at least a part of the project research.

Applications
are required and should be submitted in three copies; they should bear the reference
"Viktor Frankl Fonds-SCHOLARSHIPS"
and must include a detailed description of the project (formulation of the scientific problem, methods, operational steps, costs), a curriculum vitae, and a list of publications.

Amount:
Scholarships between 1.500 Euro and 4.000 Euro, to a total of 5.500 Euro

The Awards and Scholarships are conferred upon decision of the
committee of the Viktor Frankl Foundation of the City of Vienna.
